A multibillion-dollar leader in the US healthcare system, we attracted a dynamic, innovative healthcare executive to their Population Health business unit. Our client is a health system that applies distinctive competencies in data/insights, technology, and clinical excellence to reimagine healthcare solutions for the markets that they serve. It is a high performance culture and a business that helps nearly 60 million people live their lives to the fullest through education, navigation tools, and financing.
The Challenge
Serving as a key member of the leadership team, this SVP, Product Solutions role represented a high profile, high impact, leadership opportunity to create a world-class product development and management organization. The Product team was charged with becoming a more strategic driver of the business and with meeting or exceeding the market needs. We were asked to identify someone who would build and lead this team to deliver a strategic, disciplined and rigorous market-driven process to product development and management and for driving a digital transformation in the product suite.
The Solution
We conducted a national search targeting Product Management leaders in medical device, health-tech, health insurance, and pharmacy management companies. We identified a 20-year healthcare executive with proven ability to launch innovative healthcare products and drive financial and operational results. She has been a driver of change with a unique ability to work effectively across this highly matrix-ed organization leveraging her experience in product development, analytics, payor and provider strategy, marketing, sales, information technology, operations and clinical functions. She has brought an “outside-in” perspective while rebuilding and leading a team of product professionals focused on innovative, digital-first solutions critical to achieving their growth objectives.
